ABOUT

Caos y Creación is an artist-based practice in Carcaixent, where daily observation, conversation and local surroundings gradually become part of the work.
The work develops through collecting, observing, photographing, recording and repeated return.
Images, conversations, archives, textiles and found materials slowly evolve into layered compositions and objects.
Rather than illustrating a story directly, the work searches for indirect forms of remembrance and presence.
Many projects unfold over several months or years.
They are built through ongoing observation, recurring encounters and gradual transformation.
These long-term works often move between personal memory, local histories and everyday rituals.
Conversation forms an essential part of the practice.
Through personal meetings, shared photographs, family archives and oral histories, individual experiences become starting points for new work.
The resulting pieces do not portray people literally, but translate fragments of memory into visual language.
The studio and surrounding environment in Carcaixent function both as workspace and meeting place.
Visits by appointment are possible for conversations, viewings and ongoing project presentations.
